If you installed the touch dialer and it doesn't use the ##codes, it also doesn't do PRL updates, won't do enhanced 911, won't use any extended CDMA functions, has huge memory leaks, wrong icons, messed up roaming, etc. You just probably didn't know you were missing all these functions. No. It's the dialer as clearly stated by the quoted text.

If you would like more control over how your device rings/vibrates/flashes its LEDs on events, you can can change the Script values of these events. For example, for an incoming call performing 'activate device, play ringtone, wait 3 seconds, repeat':

a = activate device
cN = set volume to N in percentage max volume
fN = flash notification LED for N seconds
p = play ringtone. Note that this will play the ringtone all the way through before continuing with the next code.
r = repeat. Note that this should be the last code in your Script string, if used at all.
vN = vibrate for N seconds
wN = wait for N seconds. Note that the device will wait this long before continuing with the next code.

NOTE: I tried this on my 6800 and changed the v0 to v1 and now it doesn't have just one long vibrate. v0 sets it to vibrate always.

I got this hack to work, but it looks to me like you have to do this for every single custom ringtone that you have. There isn't a way to make this a "global ringtone" setting so it works on ALL ringtones?

my options are to create a new folder there... i dont know what to do when i get into the inbox.. it says to create a new key.. "settings"

and then a new string value? im new to this... any help is appreciated

Can y'all tell me how to get rid of the icons at the bottom of my Today screen? (Battery, screen rotate, comm manager, screen settings)

If your device is stock then it means it's a Today plugin. So go to Start, Settings, Today, Items and uncheck HTCHomePlug.

I see duration in the notification bubble but not the button to disconnect from vision. There is a link to Connection Settings from which I can turn off vision. So, is Connection Settings link "the button"?

After I updated my ROM to 2.09 on my Mogul my Current Username changed in my Device information.

Now since that is different from my Sprint Vision username on the internet, its not connecting me to the data services.

Any idea how I could change the current user name on the phone so it matches the one on the internet? Or will I have to call customer support?
