You can do ths by going to Start/Settings/Sounds & Notifications/Notificatioin. Go to "Connection established" and uncheck where it says "Display Message on Screen". No need for a reg hack :)

a = activate device
cN = set volume to N in percentage max volume
fN = flash notification LED for N seconds
p = play ringtone. Note that this will play the ringtone all the way through before continuing with the next code.
r = repeat. Note that this should be the last code in your Script string, if used at all.
vN = vibrate for N seconds
wN = wait for N seconds. Note that the device will wait this long before continuing with the next code.

NOTE: I tried this on my 6800 and changed the v0 to v1 and now it doesn't have just one long vibrate. v0 sets it to vibrate always.

I am guessins somewhere in there I could get the phone to vibrate for a long time rather than 3 short bursts like it does stock for a text message/email/alert etc..... but for the life of me I can't see how I would do that! haha

For #6 Speed up

what was the default values? I want to try going back to default for comparison.

fyi no quotes on the sting values if using a reg edit.

This remove date from today and puts it upop....

Thanks for the info... I did this and got the date up top, but the year is missing the last digit.

Here is how to add the AM/PM to your time in the title bar
To Add AM or PM
1) Open your registry editor (either PHM Registry Editor or Resco Explorer 2003).
2) Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\nls\overrides
3) Create 1st String Value: Name = S1159 & String = Am
4) Create 2nd String Value: Name = S2359 & String = Pm
5) Create 3rd String Value: Name = STFmt & String = hh:mm t'M'
6) Soft-reset

There has to be a space after the am or pm otherwise it will not display

Is there a tweak to fix the date on your today screen? Like as of right now mine displays " Wednesday, 4, July 2007 " How do you get it to be
"Wednesday, July 4, 2007"

Also.. is there a tweak to fix our alarm clock on our ppc 6800? It doesn't go off when the phone is in sleep mode.

Camera doesn't flip the pictures right:

Got a fix (registry change):
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\Camera\Image
Change "EnableEncodePortrait" to 0

When you take a picture it is saved in the wrong configuration and you then have to rotate it with a picture editor so its not sideways and save it again. This is the fix for it.

If you change the registry with this setting and decide to take a picture holding the phone vertical instead of horizontal you will still have to rotate the picture with an editor... Either way you are still having to rotate pictures...

is there a way to clear all notifications, cause my phone always says "Text Messages: 1 Unread" but i don't have any unread. thanx
