Threaded Messaging
 

I'm really trying to find a program where i can have threaded messaging again i had it on my PPC6700 but i just upgrade to the 6800 from cellular south. That feature is not with this phone. What do I need To do.

There are 2 ways to get threaded sms, and that's:

- A WM6.1 Custom ROM

- Vito SMS Chat

and SMS Chat is something I would highly recommend you to.

Actually there is a third option, I can't remember what the program is called, but it's saved at my home computer, when I go home for lunch I will get the name of it and post it...actually I will post the .cab for it (it's free)....

this is da last question, i want to send picture text is it a way to do this. with cellular south u can only send and receive picture mail from cellular south customers only which i think is very crazy. i have a data plan just was wondering is it an application i can use to do this without being limited to just csouth customers.

You can also use the Palm threaded app and I think it works with MMS. There should be no restriction on who you can send a SMS or MMS to.

i install it but when some one text me it want let me view them says cannot read text something like that.

Are they sending a regular text or picture mail? Have you tried sending one to yourself to see if you can receive it?

Wow the only option for me is just being on official sprint/htc rom WM 6.1 ver 3.56.651.0 and this is already giving me threaded messaging without any 3rd party apps

Very true, but I just wanted to give the OP another option in case he didn't want to flash to a different ROM.

6.1 and smms

i had palm threaded sms on 6.0 but its just a hassle when u hard reset

Can i flash to 6.1 with cellular south. I read somewhere that it wasn't a rom yet for cellular south, is this true

You may be able to get a Kitchen ROM but that may be a PITA.

Check with dcd his roms are easy to flash and you can get the carrier cab for his server

go to xda and ask around i am sure you would find it there. i use that site for my tilt but i find useful things for my mogul there too
