HTC's ExtUSB Works with Regular MiniUSB...
 

If you didn't already know, some new HTC models (Diamond, Touch Pro...) are shipping with "ExtUSB" ports, used for charging and syncing... Well, the regular MiniUSB plugs work with those ports also... I posted the full article underneath...

You did Lyle... I posted this in the Titan forum in case there are people who upgrade to the Touch Pro or Diamond... This way they are informed..

Yes Fraz... But people who have Titan's may buy the TP or the Diamond.. It is good info to know.. Or they may buy a charger with one tip and want to know if it will work with their Titan..

Yeah... I know.. One for each of the main and relevant threads that this topic pertains to.. I rarely wander into the Diamond thread... So I made sure it would be seen by a lot of people..

So you have to post 2x to the same forum to reach a separate demographic? There are probably a few hundred people that cruise this forum and I'm sure we've all read the last thread and (as you can see by its length) picked our warring faction on its usefulness. I'm not here to debate either faction, but stating it twice is a bit much I'd say...

The last thread was titled to all HTC users so there wasn't a chance it would be confused with the Titan or whatever else?

Either way I guess it will be up to the mods on if I'm just blowing hot smoke out or if I'm actually raising a valid point here...

Um...the Titan/6800 uses ExtUSB too -_- what is it that people were uninformed about?
