Text messaging input box size registry edit
Could someone please post a link to the thread describing the registry edits to increase the size of the input box in the text messaging program in WM6.1? I've seen the thread before but can't find it now. Thanks

Re: Text messaging input box size registry edit
i think he means how to increase the number of letters you can have in a text. as it sits in a normal SMS message your limited to 160. OP if you want more you can sent a text in the form of a MMS which i believe it 1000 letters. i know i hacked my old K1m to get 1000 letters in a normal text but i dont know how to do that to the 6800.

Re: Text messaging input box size registry edit
my guess is he's talking about the box thhats under your threaded message ....where your typing your message..
that would be a good edit though.. im on here a lot and have read most everything once and that kind of edit doesn't familiar.. to bad we can't just use a mouse and cursor and increase it like you would on a PC.. good luck with your search |

Re: Text messaging input box size registry edit
Well you can already type at least 1280 as I personally have typed that much although it does break it into several msgs but there is nothing you can do about that because thats a carrier controlled limit

Re: Text messaging input box size registry edit
No, I'm asking about the size of the text entry box - not the size of the message that is sent. You can only see like 2 lines of text when you are typing a message - I'd like to be able to increase the vertical height of the box in order to see more of a message being written
