On devices that are pre-AKU 2.3 you had to hard reset to remove it. Devices post-AKU 2.3 (that includes WM6) should be able to remove it with no issues from Remove Programs. I have not done it or tested it myself though.

I have that problem too. SMS starts by itself. Anyone can help?

Trust me. If we knew how to fix it would be posted on the first page. You'll need to evaluate what's more important, threaded SMS or having to deal with the issue.

Can anyone tell me how to input a large list of recipients with the Threaded SMS application? I have a NOTE file of about 50 recipients that I send messages to and with the standard messaging app I could just copy and past them into the TO: field.... but with the Threaded SMS App, it wont allow it. Any help?!?

slide some of that info this way please. I'm using the threader and would like to know how to send mass msgs w/o having to type each name. Also, is there a way to use your signature on > just the first msg you send someone? Can I permanently keep it for all replies as well?
