sms question Ok, here is my question, I need help. Whenever I have a message that fails sending (which around here is somewhat frequent) it automatically saves that as a draft, somewhere. even if i resend it successfully. then whenever i reset my phone, it sends it again. so all my friends get duplicate messages that i've already sent them. how do i fix this? is there a registry tweak or a setting that i am missing? i'm on a sprint mogul, by the way. please advise. thanks. |

Re: sms question I don't know any registry tweaks, but delete the message from the draft folder after you successfully send it.. Should fix your issue... I know somebody will come along and offer a better idea... But it's a quick fix for now.. |

Re: sms question there is nothing actually in the drafts folder though. that's the thing that gets me. before i upgraded to the new windows mobile with threaded text, they would go there, and i had to go there to resend them. now i just get a little blip on the screen that says message not sent, click here to try again. and i do that and it sends just fine, but whenever i reset my phone, it sends it again. every time. |

Re: sms question That is weird... Don't soft reset the phone... lol... |

Re: sms question I will get that a lot if I do not have a good signal. Other than that it works fine. |

Re: sms question I had that happen to me the other day. Message could not be sent. then I resent it and it got stuck in my outbox. My friend got the text like 20 times the next day. For some reason I could not delete it out of my out box. Ended up having to hard reset. |

Re: sms question I've been having a similiar problem where I recieve and send the same text 2-8 times. It's really starting to annoy friends without unlimited texts. |

now back to the topic. I get the same message when mine don't send, but mine do go to the drafts folder, and alot of the time, when i get that message the acctually DO send. I usually wait a few minutes (depending on the person) to see if they respond or not. As far as fixin your problem I think Apacho01 hit the nail on the head, sounds like a hard reset. |

Re: sms question No problem Lyle... I did a Hard Reset on my Mogul... It cured all the issues I had... It's like penicillin or something... |
