Opera for our Titan

there are a lot of different versions of the opera browser out there, and not all of them work well under the titan(due to the titan low memory?). the one that work best for me is the opera browser from the samsung ominia build 1957 (now updated to 2520). however, this version of the opera browser has the annoying transparent windows overview. the folks at xda developers have figured it out how to removed the windows over by removing 2 png files from the skin file. well to put the long story short, i have compiled a new cab with the fix and you guys can get it here:

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=AVG3FAOM

the cab also include these following hack: ie7 identifier, opera as default removal, and the opera diamond skin. install the cab into your device memory.

Greetings. So you're saying you no longer get "out of memory" errors with that version? Never at all? If that's the case, i'll give it another try. Thanks,

I fixed the problem very nicely: I removed the Opera and moved to Skyfire.

Re: Opera for our Titan

I have Skyfire, Opera Mini and Mobile and PIE and from my experience as well as everything I've read Mini is by far the fastest, at least for the Titan.

I have Skyfire also and I have used Opera in the past. But I dont care what browser you use, if you go to a site that is heavy with images you will watch your RAM decrease. I have bogged mine down with PIE+, Opera and Skyfire but thats because I try to open 3+ pages (tabs)
