Restoring XV6800 to Stock..
 

Okay, so I have spent about 4 hours reading on how to restore this thing. I have only had this used 6800 for two weeks and I want a new one. This one has some dings so I want it to be nice and new. Some guys at XDA are saying that going from GPS radio to stock non-GPS raido is not dangerous. But CokeMan and no2checm are saying they have a dead one to proove it. no2chem said that since Verizon doesn't have a stock GPS raido that there is no way to 'safely' restore to stock radio. So I can flash to stock ROM for Verizon (WM6.1 update). So how can I restore Verizon stock radio. I'm running a 3.xx radio from Sprint, GPS enabled. Please help. Thanks!

I too am curious about that, I would assume flash to the newest vzw gps enabled radio and rom, but as of now I have no problems. In the future though, this info would be great.

Well, I actually am not going to worry too much because I am not even going to send the old device back. I am going to keep it...
