See if having a business account enables you to get it earlier than the people who only have personal accounts.

Uh oh... The http://rsvpmissionpossible.com site is now offline. It shows a blank black page. That can't be good. Looks like Luv2Chill's assessment earlier might be true indeed.

Who knows why they pulled it. I noticed that the page had made it to Engadget Mobile...

Was not impressed, but what can u do !

I have the "pay per use" data plan which costs me nothing.

Checked a few sources and it seems that Sprint has placed an order for more 6700 to hold the stores over till the 6800 comes out.

YES!

Great news for me!

Well...good news...died

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. We spoke with the business rep today who came with big apologies. After speaking with him this morning, he called to make sure he would be getting the 6800s for us. Apparently, the release due this week....yeah its delayed. Suprised, not really, I was just hoping that it might come out sooner. Sorry all.

B18DelSolT 05-11-2007 12:57 AM

Did he happen to give you any guesstamate to about how long it would be?

B18DelSolT 05-11-2007 01:06 AM

IM starting to think this is whats goin on.... Not saying it is, it just crossed my mind.

Now, i have read in some forums that business reps have had it in there hand and that it was running WM6. What i think sprint might be doing is getting out to all the places that have RevA, and then move to the non RevA so that this could buy them some time to put WM6 on all of them. They probably figure they will be done buy October. This is why i think some people are getting some dates saying this Monday, and others are getting October or even worse next year.

Im most likely wrong, but it did cross my mind so though i would share it :)

Meeting with Sprint Business Rep

To answer a few questions. He did not give me any specific dates, but he did agree that Oct was what had been floted around. As for releasing into only Rev A areas, Salt Lake is a Rev A area and we are being told the same thing here. The rep told us he would allow us to switch out for the 6800 becuase the size of our account and guaranteed that when they came out, the business sector would get it first.
