Is there a way to use the data network on your phone on a laptop?
I have Verizon 6800. I wanted to take advantage of the data network, #777, on my laptop when on the road since I have no dial up services, and dial up is slower anyway. Is there a way to use my verizon data network off my phone on a laptop?

Try PDANET. I think the #777 belongs to sprint .

PDANet works for me - definitely worth the money.

Sammy,
So far as I know #777 with a blank password and blank user name have always been the standard for Verizon's dial-in... However internet connection sharing set to "Verizon" instead of "Phone as Modem" and set to USB or Bluetooth (depending on your preference) should work unless Verizon removed ICS. In which case you would need to download it and install, but so far as I know there is no reason ICS shouldn't work on your 6800, I use it almost daily on my Mogul. Jim |

Yea WMWIFROUTER is kinda cool cause you dont have to actually hook it up you just turn it on and connect via wifi

if your laptop has bluetooth then you can use your data connection through that way or you can connect your 6800 to your laptop and configure it to work that way. do some searching and you should be able to find what you are looking for.

Thanks to all you. I have been paying an extra $15 a month with Verizon for tethering and on top of that $45 instead of $30 for data package bcuz VZW said no other way. Well they got me for almost a year, but now I can save that $30 and put it towards new Touch HD.=D>
