So I would like to be able to charge my phone with a miniusb car charger and play music through a 3.5mm jack at the same time.

One says WONT WORK WITH SPRINT MOGUL WITH ROM NEWER THAN 3.35.651.2.

So I probably shouldnt buy that one since my alltel rom is newer than the one provided... anyone try one out ?

I don't see why it wouldn't. The Y-wing adapter works perfectly fine on my HTC with the August stock Sprint ROM and works fine with my new liberated dcd ROM as well.

the 2nd one is what i have. all you have to do is bend a pin with either a tack or a paperclip. search through my posts for the instructions.

Ordered the one without the handsfree thing first and said screw it and got the other one too since together its only like $20.

Hopefully one will work.
