Voicemail Notification won't clear
 

I cannot get the Voicemail notification to clear. Kitchen 20748. I've called VM and I have no new msg's. Typically it will clear in this condition. Soft reset will not clear it.

Anyone have any ideas?

I know this is stupid... but call yourself... leave a voicemail.. then call back and delete the voicemail... the icon should go away.. this happens with sprint sometimes... I dont know what carrier your with though....

You could also try to go to

Settings/Personal/Phone

then tap on the services tab. Scroll down to voicemail. Tap get settings. You can clear it from there too.

If you have a Sprint ROM.

Wasnt aware that it was a sprint only thing.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I had a few other niggles I wanted to fix so I just cooked another ROM and reflashed.

Well a Sprint based ROM. The stock Alltel/Vzw ROMs don't do that.

I am on VZW and did a custom ROM based off of 20270 and can clear my VM in my phone options
