I don't know what is haenninngg to my kyboard ome letterr don't show u annnd others ress multipple tttimes!
i'm osting this from my mogl o yo cann see exactly wwhat i'm talking aabout.

I've actually had this same thing happen to me! It's only recently though and I haven't made any changes to my device. I think this happens mainly when ActiveSync is running. I find that disabling ActiveSync helps somewhat.

Another issue that's also been popping up (may be completely unrelated) is my device is telling me there's a problem with device.exe. Suggestions anyone?

Damn i was about to post a new Thread regarding the same problem. Well if it an active sync problem i cant disable because i use exchange. But i get the same problem this is so annoying specially when you need to type in a password because you don't know if it did a turbo press. The only thing i can ask of everyone in this forum i to send an email to HTC. I think is a hardware problem mix with a software because when you use the keyboard it works with no problem. Before 6.1 the problem was that the keys was unresponsive and now is that it goes turbo when it feels like. This is one thing i hate about F*&^ MS they always release unfinished software and the Manufacture are left like sitting ducks. I wish i could go back to my 6700 because the runs smooth with no problem with the help of people from this site. But the only way i can see this solved is if a big number of people are having this same problem and we all complain to HTC/What ever carrier we use. i already made a complain to both hope it really gets somewhere.

Am having the same issue too however i dont think its related to active sync...alot of time its not running and am still having issues...for me it started after the last update I did on my phone.

Wow.. I thought it was just me. My phone has been doing that exact same thing. I think that it started after the last rom update.

I had the same problem with my mogul and I went to store and had them check it out. They gave me replacement right then and there. I've heard a lot of folks who had the same problem.

Same here. When I'm using the hard keyboard sending a text some of the keys dont work and some of the others will do the turbo thing. For instence if I type the word (you) it will come out as yuuuu. I'm running ROM version 3.35.651.2

Do any of you have the Touch style onscreen keyboard installed. Or the diamond style for that matter. Mine was doing this until i got rid of the touch keyboard. Turbo, some buttons work, some don't, when i press a i get "k". Try uninstalling your current keyboard. Im using touchpal now and everythings good. Hope this helps at least one person.

I've got this issue myself, as does my friend that also has a mogul. I'm running the most current ROM w/ 6.1 and all that. Meanwhile my friend is running the ROM previous to that. If it is an issue that was introduced through a ROM update it would most likely be the one previous. I also first had the problem with the previous ROM and hoped that it would be fixed with the new one, and it wasn't. I'm just hoping I can use that to possibly allow them to let me shift to a Touch Pro for less than I would normally.

Edit: Tested the vx6800 fix on my Mogul, and it failed to fix the issue, if anyone was curious.

If it is an issue of slowness, try disabling word completion.

It is not the word completion feature.
I took it back to Sprint and I got a refurb that works fine.
Just installed J.D.'s latest and I'm flyin high.
:)
I suggest relocking and loading the stock rom and taking it into a sprint store.

This issue is a sprint "known issue" and is due to the lack of memory on the mogul. 6.1 made the issue more prevalant due to the threaded texting. The only solution is to not allow your threads to get too long, and to ensure that you do not have an excessive ammount of programs eating up the memory

Also, I have noticed that if I "clear all text messages" and then soft reset my mogul - the issue will be fixed.

funny i had this problem monhs ago.. i try all the so call fixes posted on geeks and on xda forums and nothig worked. I dont have insuarance on this mogul so i installed the diamon on screen qwerty and now i use the screen to txt with no lagg at all.. now that I think about it i dont remember when was the last time i use th slide oout keypad and to what a shame and i got the mogul due to the slide out kepad.. cant wait for the PRO...

i've had this happen to my mogul also. i also found that using active sync at the same time slows it down. usually i just go to my top right of the screen and bring down the task manager and close all of my programs and then open my text messages or w/e i was typing on and it usually fixes the issue.
