Sprint most definatly allows a mogul without a data plan. I havent had a data plan since I bought my ppc6700 from sprint on a new contact.

Ive thought about an unlimited plan but then again. What am I paying an extra $20 a month for. Watch a few tv shows when Im just sitting somewhere which is almost never. And at the places I might sit there is wifi. Keep my weather updated constantly. Check email that can just wait til I get home.
I mean maybe if you live in the sticks that wifi is a rarity. But I live in a city and there is hotspots everywhere. If I really need my weather updated or check email I can find a wifi spot really quick. I have at least 50 hotspots on my block alone.

Other than that plenty can be done without data plan.

BigMac unfortunately sprint currently has mms disabled on there ppc's. But there are talks about them rolling it out again when they release the Diamond. Thats what MrObvious was talking about with no2chems thread. He has the program that is included in the Diamond for mms. It has worked for some not for others but its worth a try. Probably has something to do with them not releasing the Diamond yet. I mean how could that happen its not supposed to.

Sprint Picture Mail is their alternative to mms but uses data. Thats the point. Mo money.
But there is other programs besides someguymms. You could try sMMS or nueMMS. Im pretty sure that all of them still use the picture mail site but makes it alot easier to use because you dont have to actually go there. I dont use any cuz I dont use mms.

But Id check out no2chems diamond mms and see if that works for you first since thats gonna be the most integrated I would think.

reeg420, thats exactly why i dont feel like i need the data plan! especially since it saves me money. wifi is in a large number of stores now and in every coffee shop in the area and theres plenty of those

i saw something about sprint disabling it. that is really stupid. hopefully they change it back with the diamond's release.

ok i'll give those a shot!

is no2chem's diamond mms part of a rom thats been made or do i download it as an app?
thanks so much for your help!
