White level of custom set wallpaper...
 

When I set custom wallpaper (e.g. a picture I took w/ my phone), the pic appears so washed out I can barely tell what the pic is of.

Is there a way to make the pic not so washed out (light)?


PS I did SEARCH FIRST, but did not find an answer to my question. Thanks in advance for your help.

Instead of selecting the background through the today settings, go through pics and vids and view the pic you want to set. Then hit the menu button at the bottom right and select "Set as Today Background..." It will then give you an option to set a Transparency Level. Clearest is set at 0%
