FunContacts Removal
 

Can anyone explain how to remove the FunContacts from my HTC 6800 by Alltel and go back to the original contacts? Let me know if you have any suggestions.

Can you go to Remove Programs in settings?

No I don't see it in that area, but I did get it removed. Now I need to know how to reassign the keys and shortcuts in the dailer and such to the base contacts program. Currently when I am in the dialer and want to go to my contacts it trys to run the FunContacts and I get an error message stating the phone cannot find FunContacts.exe...Would I have to go into the registry editor to adjust this? If so can anyone give me tip on this?

I am also using Fun Contacts. Curious to know why you are removing it. Have you found something better or is it causing a problem?

You would get that when the program wasn't uninstalled correctly.

It is Vito Fun Contacts and it is just causing some problems on startup, it seems to stall for an extreme period of time and I'm just wanting to get rid of it now so I can use my old contacts, but if I have uninstalled the program incorrectly, which I'm sure I have, can I link my regular contacts back to the contacts button on the dailer and everywhere else for use instead of having Fun Contacts linked to it?

I would try installing it again, then uninstalling from the remove programs option.
