Turning the Screen Orientation Upside Down?
I work at an IT/Consulting Firm and one of the guys in Sales has tasked me with finding a solution for his problem. He has the PPC6800 and likes to use TomTom when he travels, however he has a strange request. He wants to hang his phone from the rear view mirror for easy viewing of the gps. but when he does this he's looking at it upside down.
Is there anyway to turn the screen display upside down or will I have to tell him he's out of luck? |

Tweeks u2k2 .net will do this. there are aother solutions, but I can't recall which at the moment.

the best I can do is to to give you a program that will allow your rotate the screen in 3 directions. upside down portrait is not one of them. it will do Portrait, landscape left and landscape right. it puts an icon on the today screen that you tap.

thanks, this guy is very set on upside down though... it's not a life or death matter, so he can wait. But now that I've searched and turned up nothing i am curious. I don't know the logistics of the code, but technically there should be some way for the screen to invert to upside down. i mean we can turn it every other way, so why not, right?
Anyway, it'll be interesting to see if you turn anything up. |

Or better yet why not get a portable GPS for 100 bux and get better GPS. I mean I understand getting GPS on the 68 is nice but a 4x3+ inch screen with full audio and turn by turn is much better and easier to see.
