Voice recorder short cut
 

How do you find the voice recorder? When I first flashed my phone, it was selected on default for the voice button. Now, I can't find it. I'm trying to find a way to map the button to the voice recorder in notes.

possibly look for an exe in the windows directory.

Might have to make a shortcut in the windows/start menu/programs folder to it.

Go to Settings>Personal>Buttons... then "Button 5 (Press & Hold), assign to RECORD.

That's the problem. Record is not in my list. Do you happen to know where I can find it using explorer and I can just map it myself.

Well, if you go to your Windows folder, AppButtons, all the apps for my buttons are there, including some that I don't map to any longer (default ones) Record is in there as well. Worth a look....

I don't think HTC voice recorder comes with the stock titan rom. You can assign it to notes and that will (might?) get you to voice notes. I just hunted down a copy of htc voice recorder (better by far then notes) and assigned that to the button 5
