Center Nav keys quit working??
 

Earlier today I noticed that my center nav keys quit working?? I was using the down earlier and it went nuts on me. If I pushed down, it would go forever and not stop. So I did a soft reset and down, left, right, up, and the center select quit working altogether. Did a hard reset and still nothing?? This is my 6th 6800 from Alltel. I haven't done anything to the phone, exposed it to water or dropped it. Just wanted to know if anyone else out there had a similar problem and what they did to fix it.

All my other keys work except for the center nav keys...

What do you mean by the touch pro? I have a 6800.

My keys stopped working too. The phone answer, hang-up, the DPad, everything but the on button.

I had to get the warranty replacement.

Yeah this sucks... Just had this one for about 2months, then everything goes to ****e... Seems like I can't get my hands on a good 6800. All of the ones I have had have all broken in some way shape or form... First it was the sync port, then the keyboard, the screen, the power button, and now the dpad.

Well you might be able to get a free Touch Pro. But Alltel doesn't have them yet. :(

So alltel gave me an ultimatum... Have them ship me an XBM or switch to a Touch... What should I do? I had them ship me the XBM while I make my decision, but I am unsure of what to do... Which is better the Touch or the 6800? I am tired of switching 6800's out though. Does the Touch have GPS?

The Touch doesn't have a keyboard or wi-fi but it is about the same thing otherwise. It's not bad and has more memory.

What about GPS? I use mine all the time on my 6800.
