Finally found a site to test upload speeds on the mogul itself :)
 

Greetings. I had posted this find over in the software forum on the "pocket speed test" thread. Not sure it belonged there since this is a website speedtest, and not actually software. Anyhoo, the site address is http://performance.toast.net I've tried it on both pie and opera 8.65. The results i've gotten are very similar to those i get while teathering with wmwifirouter and pdanet. There seems to be alot of options for upload testing (use a pre-determined file, or upload a file of your choice that you already have on your device) and a list of servers/hosts to choose from. I ran it with pocket internet explorer and got 1015kbps download, and 475kbps upload, with 3bars for my signal. im happy with that. thanks

Im in a 2 bar signal area, and got 1100 down and 350 up. Guess thats not too bad.

Unfortunately, I can't get it to work with internet explorer. It does not attempt to load the pictures or anything.

It doesnt work with uploading or downloading? hmmm, that weird. Ive ran it a bunch of times without a problem. Have you tried all the different options on the site? Just hoping maybe one of the servers isn't working properly. dschoenike
