Wifi unable to connect to network after ROM upgrade

Ok, I searched but didn't find really anything that applied, then again, I'm not professing to be the best at the search function.

Nonetheless.

I've got a wireless network at the house that I connect to from time to time to get emails and stuff faster when not on the computer, as I don't have EVDO at home. Ever since the upgrade, I have been unable to connect, and no settings have changed on the router. I've plugged in all information as usual, it shows "connecting," then "unavailable." It's not just my network, it's any network I had stored previously...hell, it won't even pick up a free wifi hotspot.

Anyone else run into this??

Connecting to a data line via your carrier is one thing and connecting to a free WiFi spot is another. Is you device able to 'see' any hotspots or none at all?

My first thought on the Data line not connecting is the A-Key but can you make calls?

No, the sprint data line works fine, I'm just talking about the wifi. It doesn't recognize nor connect to any wans

Did you upgrade to the official sprint ROM or a custom?

I flashed a custom (from DCD) a while back and had no wifi activity, as in it would not detect networks, WMwifirouter would not work, etc..

I simply ended up re-flashing the exact same ROM over again and it fixed it. I am not certain if a hard reset would work or not.

The only other thing I have heard of happening would be the hardware switch randomly broke, which has happened on occasion.
