how can i restore contacts....
 

ok, so i was uploading some stuff to the phone...E-sword bibles,Base Hue,NULed, and i think that was it...i started looking around on the phone itself and manually adjusted an active sync setting, i remember it said something about outlook, and if i was sure i wanteed to continue...i thought i was freeing up memeory, but i unintentionally erased the contacts...this was my friends phone :( ....im kinda ](*,) when it comes to this 'newer' tech stuff which is sad, but i REALLY dont know how to get the contacts back...i tried searching, but i dont really undersdtand some of the terms and stuff are saying..i can comprehend english, but some of you guys throw around terms i dont know ... i read something aboput a pim.vol file, i see that but dont know what to do with it...and im pretty sure she has NEVER backed anything in her phone, shes worse than me with this stuff.....PLEASE any help will be appreciated....thanks....

at this point if the contacts are lost on the phone they are lost until another activesync is performed...but make sure activesync is set to overwrite whats on the device the first time you sync otherwise it will erase contacts stored in outlook on the pc too

take a look for "dashwire" on google. you better have a data plan for this but it works really good.
