Don't know about water damage but a shattered LCD is definitely covered. I managed to crack mine 2 weeks ago. Took it in, the guy said we need to open it just to make sure there is no damage to the board. According to him, If there is damage to the board I would have to call Asurion." Luckily for me everything for me, the came back out saying " I am sorry, all I could do is order you a replacement. I should be here in a couple of days, you can come pick it up once we give you a call." I am still however still waiting for the phone. I am counting it on not being here for another week and the Diamond coming back out on the second.
