I don't know if it necessarily works with your models, but I just transferred my lg wave contact list to my htc ppc6800 using the vcard over bluetooth function. I could only do 10 at a time, but it worked perfectly.

Once you get your 6800 set up, I'd suggest a Dashwire account. It's a free, cloud based backup of all your contacts, pix, SMS, voicemails, and vids. You set up the account on your PC and then d/l the client to your PPC. www.dashwire.com

you lost me at a step..
how do i import my contacts from my lg 8600 to dashwire? that phone is not a smart phone at all.
