quick help please

Ok so I'm not the brightest one out there. I was tired of asking uscc to come out with an update. So I decided I would do it myself. Um, well, I think I took a uscc on my phone. Now I have no activ sync no running program. I get the tri-color or just the htc main screen. It wont even say its charging unless I pull the battery. Please help before my wife ask what happened to my new phone. Any advise is greatly takin'. Thank you.
