Bye Bye SERO
 

WAAAAhhhh! Just when I was gonna add a phone onto a Sero plan for my mate, then got rid of it! I mean really, I added one for my kid last month, then went in this month to do it and its gone.

Man, with my coverage problems with sprint, this almost makes me want to take the new 5GB cap, scream contract breach and go to alltel or someplace where I can put all three of us on a nice inexpensive family plan.

Then again... I like my unlimited data connection on my mogul. WAAHHHH!

What to do ... what to do!

That is a total bummer that SERO is gone and the new plans are over priced in my opinion.

Do you know anyone who works for Sprint? If so there's something they can get you on like a employee's family deal. From what I hear it's actually cheaper than sero with all of the same services. You're responsible for the bill and the line is in your name, not theirs.

Other than that, the only thing I can suggest is to check and see if your employer gets a discount thru Sprint.

I work for bestbuy and I called in to get my discount (22%) now the odd thing is... they didnt ask for proof of employment at best buy... I wonder why...it only takes the sting of the taxes off but every little bit helps right?:angel4:

In any case, it does really suck that they finally got rid of the best plan in all of the cellular world.

Yeah, i had the new email and CID to get into the sero plans, the days of the $30 plan are over. The 59.99 plan wouldnt be too bad if I Could share it over two lines, but seriously. Aside from Unlimited (with a 5gb cap) data, and 50 extra minutes the plans are no different than regular plans. Its like its not even any good to be a sprint employee if you were one. I think I Can get 15% through my employer, which ALMOST brings two $30 plans and a 59.99 plan down to $110, but eh.

Actually, now that I dove deeper into the plans, it might not be so bad. I pay the $30 right now, but if I want Sprint TV and Sprint Navigation I have to pay another $20 a month. The new plans have those automatically PLUS an extra 50 mins. Maybe its not so bad after all. Ponder Ponder.
