Broken Temperature Sensor
Folks,
Got a strange problem. My Mogul is erroneously reporting its temperature as -10c and won't take a charge, since the Mogul thinks it is too cold to safely charge the battery. The battery will charge, however, if i put it in a stand-alone charger. So, clearly the temperature sensor has gone bad. Anyone know if that sensor is in the battery or PPC itself? Thanks, Doc |
Re: Broken Temperature Sensor
I believe it is in the battery. I have a spare battery for my mogul than no longer charges for some reason in the phone while my other charges no problem. I need to take my spare and get it swapped out just haven't had the time. Recommend trying a different battery and see if the problem continues, that would help determine if it is the phone or the battery causing the problem.

Re: Broken Temperature Sensor
I do not know how one could use the Mogul with only 1 battery. Ouch

Re: Broken Temperature Sensor
I recently reloaded Batti when the last update (v2.3) came out, and with it's fixes, I'm likeing it again. It's not so intrusive on apps that need the foreground. But I'm the battery isn't running at 153C. Is it confirmed that the batt sensor is in the battery?
I'm using a 3200mAh Seidio.. mebe I've a problem with it? |
