gonna probably have to buy a prepaid phone when you're out of the country - most other places will use GSM instead of CDMA.....

Greeks go for GSM. You may be able to pick up a signal off a cruise ship in the islands, mon.

I used my AT&T Tilt with a local o2 prepaid sim card while in the UK for a month (for work and fun) - but then then tilt is a GSM world phone, and I still had to unlock it before it would accept that o2 sim.

Way WAY cheaper then roaming on AT&T, for sure.

I vote for skype for calls back home, and screw the phone for everything else.

was just looking this up today. the bahamas do have CDMA. going on a cruise in oct and was looking at the rates. if the phone goes it will have the cell service turned OFF. $1.99 a min for calls and .50c for text. F that.
