Hey all... anyone know how to deal with this situation? When using any 'auto sms reply' program on the HTC Mogul the receiver will see @i@s@t@h@i@s@ instead of 'is this' when they recieve the sms message...

Please help... seems to happen with all such programs...

hi. Ii had the same issue, flashed phone with a dcd rom and now the probblem iis gone. I'll check my version of rom and radio for you toomorrow.

lol... same thing happened to me sometimes when i tried to send a text message. It was because i used the word "Cafe" with autocorrect on and it would change it "Cafe'" with the accent over the "e"... i guess other phones dont recognize it so it puts in all of those extra characters (@)

i dunno... those are my thoughts about it

I fixed this in a friends Treo 750 by turning off the add signature option.

Hi. I´m really not that knowledgeable, just starting to get the hang of it, but as I said, what fixed it for me was flashing the ROM and Radio. ROM: Custom based on sprint 3.0.2 and Radio: 3.35.04 which of course also unlocked Rev-A and GPS.

I´m in mexico, so I use accents a lot and I´ve been sending a lot of messages without any problem.
