Wrong Bootloader

I flashed my phone from 3.35 to the new stock 3.56 rom with no problems. I then unlocked my phone and proceeded to flash kaos take 3 rom. Everything went fine but the phone resets every time i get to the calibrating screen after bootup.

I've found out that the problem is that I unlocked with the 1.20 olipro bootloader instead of the 2.40. I followed some advice and tried to flash to a stock rom, but whenever the progress bar reaches 11% the phones resets back to the bootloader screen and the RUU says error and wants me to do recovery. I've tried with both 3.35 and 3.56 stock roms multiple times but the same thing happens.

Can anyone help please? ](*,)

Did you format the card to fat32....if so keep trying your only fix is for it to take one of those stock ROMS......BTW is the Kaos ROM for the Titan? Never seen that one....

so i've been reading and since it resets at 11% when I try to flash the stock rom, the radio is the problem? can i flash just the radio that is suitable with olipro 1.20? then try flashing stock?

Re: Wrong Bootloader

If you are on a 1.20 bootloader you need to flash a pre-GPS OS either via usb or SD then unlock with a 2.xx SPL once you get into WM.

What about what I've read about going from GPS to non-GPS bricking your phone? I'm sorry I'm just trying to be extra cautious.

The radio never updated because you were never un-locked properly....just flash the stock rom....you will be fine...

A non GPS stock rom.....hang on and I will find it....

Here ya go.....try any of these

Sorry too.....I missed the post last night that you were trying 3.35 and 3.56.....If I would have noticed you would have been up and running last night.....but it was late...lol

I have the exact same problem, except ActiveSync is no longer seeing my Titan. I do not know how to flash a non-GPS version (like the ones above - 2.16; 2.17) without ActiveSync. I know USB connection is working, just activesync is not acknowledging the device is connected. Any otherway of flashing a non-GPS?

Re: Wrong Bootloader

You can flash using the SD method. Use winrar to open the files he gave. Take out the RUU_signed.nbh. Then you can use the SD card method. Read the section about the SD method on my tutorial. It is linked in my signature.

Ga.Medic, your instructions were fantastic, from beginning to end. I had created a mess of the whole thing, but I am finally home and very happy with what I've got.

THANK YOU!!!
