Mame For Ppc Wm 6.1?
 

anyone has mame for there pocket pc, or working on there mogul..
i have a app installed but it does not detect the zip roms.

it says to drag the roms to a mame directory folder in program files
in a folder called roms, and drag the zip file witch is the rom.

i tryed a few versions of mame and no luck. i cant detect any roms in the rom folder, for the developers of this app, it would actually be helpful to manually
search for roms instead of having the app locate it on its own.
witch is my problem now...


maybe mame is too advanced for my mogul.
i do want to play marvel vs capcom on my mogul
and metal slug.. any help?

I doubt you're going to be able to play something like that through MAME. As far as I know, no MAME port for Windows CE/Mobile is very advanced yet

Your best bet is to play them on a Playstation emulator like FPSEce: http://www.fpsece.net/

I doubt you'll get good results though, due to the awesome video drivers, or lack thereof

If it's just 2D fighting games and sidescrollers you're looking for, I would suggest Morphgear: http://www.spicypixel.com/web/page/morphgear/Home.aspx

It does SNES, NES, Genesis, and a few other 16/8-bit systems. You've got Gunstar Heroes instead of Metal Slug, and Street Fighter instead of MvC. There's plenty of classics to keep you busy until a better phone or emulator comes out

do you have to dl the engine and then the cabs for each system... or can u just dl the engine and it will runn all?

You need the engine, plus a CAB for each system. The Marat cab is a multi-system one, but it's commercial, and you have to pay for it

sucks
