TCPMP on DCD 3.2.5 won't work
 

Updated to the new Sprint 3.56 and overwrote with DCD's 3.2.5 rom and now TCPMP isn't working. I get an "Unexpected Error Occured, Send crash.txt to developers" message. Any idea's whats going on?

From what I understand it's an issue with all 6.1 ROMs, you'll need that recompiled version any time you use one.

yup thats what i use.. but for some reason when i install the codec pack tcpmp my player crashes

I think the codec pack is still broken....i don't believe anyone recompiled that part...but I could be wrong...maybe I just haven't seen it...

i tried the above version and now the program loads, but crashes whenever i try to play a video file. any thoughts?

Which one did you try? If you tried the TCPMP .072......then try the 3.49 that Ricky posted.....

i have tried both rc1 and rc3 and neither will play anything on wm6. rc1 wont open, jsut crashes, rc3 opens but crashes when you try to play a file

Find one of the older versions for WM6.....I would post it but I don't have it anymore.....

never mind i uninstalled rc1 and reinstalled it, then installed rc3 over it and its working. when i just installed rc3 it didnt work

delete all tcmp files, then reinstall tcpmp. soft reset and youre good! good luck!

Hi , I've also been having a terrible time trying to find a working tcpmp for my new tp2, I think I'm close to giving up, Im so far very unhappy with wm 6 versions from wm 5, I've had to do numerous registry edits just to get the same functionality as I had on wm5, very discouraging and time consuming. Now I am coming to the realization that it will take a miracle to view any full web browser based flash content. I experimented with many apps and browsers but none of them as convenient as having 1 stand alone player with plugins. although i've gotten the rc1 version working there seems to be many bugs and missing codecs hence no youtube or flash of any kind which was really the point. You have a virus - it's called windows mobile 6 . Think I'll go back to 5 .
