Battery meter in top bar

I have searched. I have found 2 solution. The first is the reg hack to replace the clock with a battery meter. I would like both. The second is vistahide bar. When I extract it I get an EXE file that will not run. Am I supposed to put this on my PPC and create a shortcut to it? I have been trying to run it from my PC. Any other choices? Thanks. My set up is VZW6800, DCD 3.2.5

here you go. Delete the .zip part. Move to your device and run it. Then restart your phone.

For VistaHide, yes, the .exe is actually meant to run on your phone instead of your computer. Either put the program itself in the Windows/Startup Folder, or a shortcut.

I put vistahide in my startup folder, as others have said. I love it.

After you download it just right click>rename and remove .zip. Don't try to unzip it. He added the zip to be able to post it here. It is not actually zipped.

Wktask has an option to put a battery meter on top like vistahide.

Whats great about Wktask is that it is a task manager too. So you could do away with any other task manager. It also supports skinning of the ok/close button and has the option to show running programs like a pc.

Heres the link for that.

try this for a battery bar>> http://andrsd.blogspot.com/2008/06/batti-22.html
its really easy just adjust the battery indicator that it installs and you almost dont know its there unless your actually looking for your battery levels

Batti I think is the best all around, though I'd like something that displays the current draw / mAH being used...
