Device Information screen incomplete
 

Just for kicks I pulled up the device information screen today and for some reason the page stops at the Rom date entry (see below). The only information I could find on errors on this page related to a missing htcutil.dll, but that would cause all the pages to be blank. I have the htcutil.dll and everything else seems to be working as usual. Anyone have any clue as to why it's getting stuck and if this is a sign of a more serious issue? I hesitate to reflash because I didn't customize the ext_rom that much and generally like how I have things configured via cabs, etc. Plus, the girl doesn't like for the phone to get more cuddle time than she does... :???:

I had that same problem, I think its due to the HTC Home plug in. I did a hard reset and loaded a differnent Home plug in and now all the information show up

Bingo. Uninstalled HTC Home, threw the final HTC Home Customizer on, ran it, and let it download a newer copy of HTC Home. Reset and now I've got my device information back, can power down successfully, as well as change brightness. Didn't realize all the quirks were related. Thanks... :headbang:

Thanks alot I threw the final customizer on my phone and let it do it's thing and now everything work fine, weather auto updates like it should

Hmmm. Will try that. I posted another thread about the same thing last night about device information missing.

Edit: Removed HTC Home Plugin and everything works. Thanks! :-)
