wirless sync?
 
if my 6800 wont sync trough a usb connection will it work if i go buy a wirless sync infared adapter? i know its a simple question but i dont want to go buy one if it aint gonna work...

why won't your 6800 sync through USB? Does the PC not recognize the 6800? Or does the PC see the 6800, but Activesync won't connect to it. If there is a problem with Activesync, the infrared might not help. Your USB problem is probably fixable however, but we'll need some more information to help you out.

i'd go bluetooth over infared.

my pc just wont recognize my mogul for some reason iv never synced it before it aint no big deal to me i just wanna be able to sync files alot easier then going trough my sd card and copying and pasteing everything :angry7:

what do you guys recomend cause i was just looking at the usb bluetoot + irda adapter but i rather get some opinions before i buy it cuse doesnt the mogul have that problem when it will just stop syncing out of nowhere iv read alot of post of ppl with the same problem but i havent seen if anyone has got it to work with a wirless adapter cause my pc just wont recognize my mogul trough usb i get an error that says usb device not recognized and i already went trough the whole proccess and nothing worked so i know that its the phone

well, I have a simple ir usb adaptor and it does come in handy sometimes.. the bluetooth in it may not be the greatest, but who want's long range bluetooth from thier pc anyway? security hole anyone?

I say go for it. I find it much quicker/easier to copy files to my pc via ir.

edit: oh yea, and did I mention that bluetooth pairing is a pain in the A$$

yeah but will it reconize my phone or does it matter how does the adapter work to connect it to my phone
