I just went through my fourth new replacement and finally got it right... thats how I fixed it...... all on Alltel's dime.

im having the same problem with my verizon xv6800. the windows button also sticks and doesn't work all the time.

i installed the cab fix and it works better....

no double letters anymore, only some keys, s and r dont always register.
windows key isnt any better. i have to really press it hard to make it work which makes me think that this is all a hardware issue and the cab fix just helps to fix this problem.

ill hand it in for a new phone before warranty runs out.

i hope this fixes a problem i've been having with my spacebar ... it only works when i press it REALLY hard ... i don't know, that sounds more hardware related, but I can hope I guess ... tried taking apart the phone only to find the keyboard is all one piece ... lovely.

It is a hardware problem. If you have insurance plus extended warranty a replacement is free. You should do that.
