WM 6.1 Today Screen/Text Message Problem
 

On my today screen and in the text message application I am seeing two unread text messages but I don't see them I have looked at all of my messages(threaded).


Is there a registry setting/fix for this issue?

Long time lurker but yeah thanks did soft reset more then a few times

Hmmm, there's a registry fix somewhere out there.

It has to do with phantom messages being displayed, exactly what it sounds like you're experiencing.

Have you tried the phantom email buster and or the fixunreadcount programs

my motto is always check the obvious. Have you looked in the Drafts and Saved Folders?

Fixed it.
Unthreded the messages using

Then looked for the unread messages and viewed them.

I tired both of them they were not phantom emails see my last post

Did you try removing the Messaging item from the Today Screen and then adding it again?

did your time change? sometimes using GPS will blip your time until it gets a solid lock. if you get a text during that time, it'll be WAYY back in the threaded messages if it's someone you often text.

just a thought incase it happens again
