does anyone know why or how to make limewire work through internet sharing on the mogul

Software like limewire usually always use specific ports. Cell carriers probably block those ports to prevent people from launching P2P sharing software and bogging down their data network.

Ive used it several times over my moguls connection, are you on sprint?

You can usually specifiy the ports in Limewire, so that shouldn't be the issue. It doesn't use set ports. Or at least last time I used it, it wasn;t like that...it might have changed

Don't use P2P over cell data networks and ruin tethering for the rest of us. :protest:

I Agree.

Do what I did. Buy a sprint mobile data card for that type of usage.
Its faster and more reliable than my touch will ever be.

i am using sprint
but, after reading all of your responses i decided not to use it for p2p
so dont worry about me effing it up for everyone
