Threading apps sending multiple messages???
 

I have tried two different SMS Threading apps and I had the same issue with both of them. They send duplicate messages. I'll send a text and the recipient will get it shortly after, as normal, but then get it again hours or days later. This never happens with the installed non-threaded SMS program. Has anyone else had this problem/know a solution?

It is a Sprint issue.....this has happened with all Roms I have used at some time or another.....

I've been battling with Sprint and the billing of text messages for the past two months. They claim that it doesn't happen...but we all know that it does.

yeah, i had to get a bunch of duplicate texts removed off of my bill as well.

One thing I noticed is that this would always happen to me whenever I would get the error of message not sent. But then after I would send it, and it would go through but the message should either stay in my drafts or outbox and it would constantly keep sending it out of there, so I always clear out those 2 folders every time a message doesnt go through.

Did anyone ever figure out a fix for this? It's happening for me on Verizon, too.

I hope this ends when the Touch Pro comes out for Sprint. Or else I'll just use regular texting. Though threaded SMS is a great app.

I have never seen that fix.....but if it does work for you let me know after a few days of using it to confirm for sure....thanks..
