Help! stuck in bootloader, usb won't work
after reading about roms and radios and bootloaders for a week, i decided to try it. i ran olipro 2.40 and the first and second steps went fine. on the third, when it stops and asks you to make sure there is a connection, i diddnt have one. i looked at my xv6800 and it said (on the screen) to 'push power to upgrade. i think this is because i had a radio rom in the sd slot. i pushed power, and it hung. i did a soft reset, and now i have a triple color screen that says TITA100, SPL-1.04.0000. at the bottom, it says usb. but the pc wont recognize a connection, other than installing drivers. what do i do?

Re: Help! stuck in bootloader, usb won't work
I had same problem in first time!
You can fix that easy! If in triple color screen is SPL-1.04.0000 , i can say that you not finished Olipro 2.40 right! To fix that you must download "STOCK ROM" and run from your PC! This will fix your Verizon! After having Verizon to work, try to run Olipro 2.40 again! But read instruction right this time! |
Re: Help! stuck in bootloader, usb won't work
i can get that far, but it happens every time i try to connect after step 2. as soon as i get into the bootloader, the usb stops connecting between my laptops (one xp, one vista) and my xv6800.

Re: Help! stuck in bootloader, usb won't work
Are you positive that you are trying to flash the correct rom for your device? I read before about someone having the same issue when they were trying to flash a Vogue rom to a Titan by accident.

Re: Help! stuck in bootloader, usb won't work
no, i had the right rom. my computer wouldnt activesync, and the instructions said to make sure it could. i figured, either it will see it and work, or it wont see it and it wont work. so i hit next, and it asked if id like to upgrade? i said yes, and it said it could take 10 minutes. 5 seconds later, my bl was updated, and 5 minutes later i had radio and rom installed. so i am now running dcd 3.1.2 radio 3.39.10
moral of the story, computers are stupid. |
