Nvm Folder Locked, Cannot Edit. Why?
 

I'm using QPST to get into the file system of my HTC 6800. For some reason, a few files that I'm trying to get to aren't editable from the QPST EFS Explorer.
The folder of most interst is NVM, it is locked. Any reason? http://i239.photobucket.com/albums/f...o/Untitled.jpg

Earlier today I change my SPC to all zero's from what it was previously, then did soft reset. Does this have anything to do with.

Metropcs is the carrier. Sprint Mogul is branded phone name.

they are blocked on mine aswell.

Sprint Mogul on Sprint.

It might just be where critical files are that shouldnt be edited. like the bootloader, boot info.

Interesting. Happy to see I'm not alone. :???: Suck for us both though. I need access to the NVM folder to do some editing of the $SYS file.

I've searched the forums for information on how to make these folders editable with no luck. I'll keep searching, in the meantime, anyone else got something?

u have to use a program called qxdm in order to browse the nv folder..i have the program in a thread i posted..just get into qxdm connect and and locate nv browser..

also cdma workshop can be used to change ur esn

I was able to login to the NV Browser and everything works fine. BUT theres a little problem, how am I able to extract or save the $SYS file on my computer? I don't see it any where. Browsing the NV files in QXDM is different from QPST's EFS Explorer. Is there any way in QXDM where I can search and view the NV files in folders like QPST's EFS Explorer?
