Just built my first rom. However whenever i turn on my phone it keeps getting stuck in the main splash screen (the last one till everything comes up) it almost came up all the way one time then went off. What am i doing wrong.

I selected my carrier and device then i pick out what stuff i wanted in the rom the hit the little green build button. used the updater and flashed over removed battery and hard reset but same thing everytime stuck in the last screen.

Any help please, first time build...

Did you by chance include HTC Home 2.1 in your build? I have heard of this issue when others have done so...

try taking battery out and then putting it back in and rebooting.

i did that several times and yes i did have htc 2.1

ok trying to build without that but phone wont connect to active sync now

Technically it doesn't have to connect to ActiveSync, your computer only needs to see that it is connected. Do you see your phone in My Computer? If so, go ahead and reflash...

i can see it in my computer but ruu still says its not connected

ok i can hard reset and everything but my phone wont come completely on it stays on the splash screens any help at all please dont tell me this is the end

hold down the power button and the camera button while pushing in the softreset. It will force into bootloader mode.
