can't install software via USB after ROM 3.XX
 

hey guys, anyone else with this problem:

ever since "upgrading" to ROM 3.XX I haven't been able to install any software ! software installs fine if I use CAB files, but if I try to use the USB cable, it doesn't install.

I am suspecting it is some kind of problem with the application manager (the desktop window mobile program that installs programs at next sync). whatever it is, I am frustrated and confused. please let me know if any of you have any ideas. thanks

(by the way, unclicking the advanced USB feature didn't help, nor did upgrading to ROM 3.56)
