Lost Verizon Wirelesssync After Flash of vx6800
 

I am generally happy with the functionality of the reflash of my VX6800. I have been trying out different versions from different authors. However, all of the versions that I have tried have had the same problem.

I can install Verizon Wirelesssync and all of my contacts, notes etc will load onto the phone. Sometime later, usually more than several minutes the wirelesssync program with show the error:

"could not resolve server name(0x10B) Error occurred starting session."

Has anyone experienced this error?

I tried calling Verizon tech support. They had me change the server name and hard reboot to no avail. They then had me remove the program then download the cab and reinstall the program. It would work 1 time then give the same error message.

I have always had this issue with the no2chem and ppckitchen roms, but, you can fix it.
First, go here:

and download the verizon carrier cab at the bottom of the first post (right above the screen shots.
Then, uninstall wireless sync. Run the verizon carrier cab and soft reset. Then reinstall wireless sync. In the future, just run the cab right after the ROM boots up for the first time after the customizations run, before wireless sync, and you're good to go.
