Can i pleeeeeeease uninstall activesync?

I hate this pos app. It has never worked correctly even with my old 6700. The only thing I ever use it for is to flash my roms.
I use pocketpim to backup my contacts since activesynnc won't.
It pops up whenever it feels like it and slows down my ppc to a crawl.
It even slows down my windows PC's!

Is there anyway I can uninstall this horrible piece of garbage?
Please.. I'm very emotional right now.

I assume you know of dotFred's task manager / reg edit. ok, well, look in some of the other tabs. I don't run my 6700 anymore or know what rom your running, but a good one that should work for you is this..
dotfred task manager,,
go to the "notifications tab"
look for replog.exe

I disable the one that say's something about time sync. (this is what keeps launching activestink for no reason...)

be careful, but have fun too!

No real way to uninstall the app. Most issues with the app with windows are from the poor manner in which windows assigns drivers to usb devices. When the driver corrupts, activesync fails. If you are able to identify the correct USB driver for the PPC and uninstall it, you should be able to replug it in and all should be well.
