So, what GPS Proggies are being used?
so i finallly got around to upgrading my ROM to use GPS. i have fiddled with the google maps gps and it is quite nifty especially with the free traffic synch. however, i would like to use a proggie that does simulate the direction/map style of a standalone gps, with voice prompts. paying 9.99 monthly seems excessive since i want something that can last say 2 years, or that i can take to my next windows mobile device. what are people here using and why?

Have you read the GPS thread at the top?
I am using iGuidance 4, works well with the Astrolauncher and GPSGate tweaks. |

Re: So, what GPS Proggies are being used?
I'm using Navizon i get paid to use the gps by mapping wifi locations (all, protected, open and what not) and cell towers. I also use Holux GPS viewer because it was originally needed as a primer and I use it out of habit, but it has a good view of the satellites you're connected to. Then I use Garmin Mobile XT. The program is free but you need to buy maps (they have a basic free set). I like it. It's got a good display, plus I already had maps for it...
Try Navizon by clicking my sig. |

read the threads. there are tons of them devoted to 'which gps program' we all use.
all the major ones are discussed. |
