this is not working. so damn those girls that i picked up this week, i cant ever call them. Well i guess i can get those numbers back from my call history on my bill. Wonder if it saves allthe text numbers

Wait... did you hard reset yet? Do this first!
I would take the battery out, press and hold the power button, tap the soft reset button a few times, let it sit for an hour or 2, then pop the battery back in and power up. See if it boots.

It may/may not work. I just don't want to see another person loose all their contacts!

Also, if you have your previous phone, you could take it into Sprint and convince them to copy them over again.

In case you haven't realized... this is a MOGUL forum... :drunken:

Anyway, if you would like to hard reset [DO NOT until you do what I said above] You hold the 2 soft keys [above the call/end buttons] and tap the reset button at the bottom. It will ask you to press either yes or no to reset.

thanks the hard reset is not working. I give this a try. thanks again. But again, why would the sun make it go to that screen. Maybe it got too hot

The only possibility I could think of related to heat would be that the EPROM info was scrambled... but that generally only happens when introduced to microwaves and electro-magnetic radiation.

Check your SD card to see if the content is readable in your computer.

Plus, I added another post after my own. Check that for how to REALLY hard reset. The guy with the homer avatar was giving you info on the TOUCH not the MOGUL

thanks dude. well i cant check it on my pc since i dont have a card reader

i did a hard reset just to see if that prompt came up. Now i pressed the 2 buttons with dots on it and the little circle underneath the phone. It did'nt ask me anything. So that won't work. this is frustating

Press and HOLD the reset button while still HOLDING the 2 keys with dots on them for 2 seconds. Then see if it prompts.
