S2U2 SettingsPlus problem/question...

I am running S2U2 1.03, along with S2U2 SettingsPlus. I can't get SettingsPlus to work. I try to change the text on the slidetolock part, and put the sounds and it does not show. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks in advance...

Are you running ilock2 to shut it off then making the changes? Also you can change it using a registry editor.

Well, I downloaded the "SettingsPlus" CAB, that is supposed to do it without using the registry. That's what I'm asking.

I did both. I used ilock to shut it off, and vice versa. I didn't want to use the registry editor, just because I had this software installed which is supposed to do it.

Having a bad day? Because your comment came across harsh to me when I was only trying to help. That said...

Where did you get the "SettingsPlus" CAB from? I don't recall seeing that around and cannot help if I am not running it to see what the issue is.

And if it is not working correctly for you, I know the registry can be a scary thing if you are not used to it, but it was a quick and painless change for a cool effect.

Actually... having a wonderful day. I apologize if I came off "harsh"... just pointing out what I was asking. Wasn't sure if I wasn't clear... so sorry about that.

I think I got the settingsplus cab either here, or over at xda-developers (I think here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=353008).

I'm fine with hacking the reg, I just would prefer not to, since I have the app that is supposed to do it.

Thanks...

Are you sure the version of plus works with the version of S2U2 you are using? I read on another site that its not compatable with all versions. I should point out I dont use SettingsPlus either.

Make sure that you are running the latest version (1.05). Then open a registry editor and go here:

\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\A_C\S2U2\S2UText (default is slide to unlock, change to whatever you want)
\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\A_C\S2U2\S2AText (default is slide to answer, change to whtever you want)
