Sorry if I'm posting something thats already posted....

I Have the Leaked version of the Sprint ROM 3.49.15 which I'm very happy with it... But i was looking for the official Rom cant find it anywhere... has it been released yet????

ok the last time we had a leaked rom.. it took several months.. what 4? (for those that have a better memory than me) hell I think I remember dl'ing it at the end of november. and we didn't get the official rom till march.

what we did get was numerous speculations. about how "this week was going to be it" how they got "inside info from sprint" that noone else had..

my advice. be patient.. historically the release of an "unofficial" rom, is not an indication that the official one is right around the corner. all its an indication of is they are working on one.. when or if it will ever be released is completely up to sprint and normally runs on their own timeline. not the whims of random posters on various bb's

so patience is the key =)

I personally think the release of the "unofficial" roms are done by programmers at sprint who get stuck.. release the buggy versions. and watch how the genius programmers out here fix their mistakes and then take those fixes to their bosses as the "heros" of their departments.. yea its a conspiracy theory but lol its what I would do =)

I agree, it seems to be the best way to beta test, people fix/find there bugs and noone can get mad at them because it wasn't meant to be in the wild. just like how gmail has been a beta for years. none can get mad if it glitches because there signing up for a beta mail application.

why you little..... you found us out.... i will have to call my minuns have have them take care of you before this gets out of hand... quick my minuns give this man this phone for free... it has all the latest technology in it... or will you take what is behind door # 1? or maybe we should just offer him a job here and let him do our work for us.. I wounder which would be worse?

I knew it had to be something like that... How they using the PPC's programmers hard work then take it to their boss and get the big paychecks... low life
